Are there any good tips on how to remove wallpaper?

Just moved in to a new apartment with horrible wallpaper, we are allowed to remove it, but as I’m peeling it it’s starting to peel the wall along with it.

How do you take the wallpaper off? Any easy or quick tips?

try using a hair dryer to melt the adhesive, then peel the wallpaper off.

Take off only what is loose or peeling. The rough spots can be Spackle and sanded a little to get a smooth surface. Use wall paper backing then wall paper over it. This will be better than trying to get the old stuff off and you will still have to Spackle the rough spots.

The thick vinyl paper requires no backing they are thick enough to not let the old paper show through.

Wet it down, then use a paint scraper to get it off.
