How to decorate a victorian goth teen bedroom?
Im redoing my room and I really like the victorian goth look. Im 16 and I would like to do the colors in purple, lime green, and black. I found wallpaper of the rose tree print at Lowes that looks really cute but its just black and white and I really want purple on my walls, but I want the wallpaper too. I think it would be cute to have the lime green for an accent color… any ideas?

If the paper isn’t real shiny, take a sample piece and color it with permanent marking pens or Paint Pens.
black lace would work well, and a black comforters with lime green sheets (you’ll have to make your bed so you can see the green part would cool) if you find cool vases, you can always make your own lamps with a lamp kit, so look out for cool vases and pots and stuff, and cool lamp shades. If you REALLY want to DIY, you can make your own lampshades too out of some cool cloth you find
with the wall paper that you have chosen you can add purple pillows or even a bed spread and get frames for your pictures in black ,white, purple and green . A lamp with a black base and a lime green shade , a black alarm clock .

Another idea for the wallpaper would be to use the sponge technique and use purple to go lightly over some or all of the white parts. That way you can use different shades for accents if you’d like and still do it in a reasonable amount of time.
Wallpaper sucks, trust me! It sucks to put on, and it sucks to remove if you have to some day. I would paint the walls purple, and use black and lime green accents. Use bundles of dried red roses and hang on the walls upside down, they kinda dry dark purple-ish.
How about painting your walls dark purple. Then add black wall decals. They are removable. The website I listed has some in black and also Ikea.com has some. Etsy.com has them as well, if you are interested in ordering online. or.. paint the top of the walls purple and use trim/ moulidng and wallpaper you like below it.
I have two perfect colors for you! They are from Sherwin Williams "Colors Around The World – Color Knows No Time Zone" Collection. Here they are: "Plum Brown" #6272 (similar to an eggplant color) and "Tupelo Tree" #6417 (an old fashioned/lime green). These two colors are crazy together!
