i need help with DESIGNING a fauvist style wallpaper…
any ideas, help, sites?

Well…You wallpaper typically needs a pattern. So you should choose some colors..pic some randomness as a pattern, and start from there. Just make sure you don’t cross the border from Impressionism (what fauvism is base on) to psychidelic. If it starts glowing in the dark…might have gone to far.
