I got this one.
Google – Images – Advanced Image Search (to the right of the search button…no not that right your other right) and search for whatever your display is
do not know what size your wallpaper is?
in most cases, – Start – Control Panel – Display – Settings
and in most cases, you can tile the image or stretch it
some stretching can give funny wallpaper and some stretching just looks bad
To add more background images, turn them in .bmp file (like Microsoft Paint – open file – Save As and pick the .bmp format and save it to your C:/windows directory
My icons are on the left side usually so in Microsoft Paint
you can open up a blank one and do Image – Attributes
and create a blank image the size of your desktop
grab an image that is smaller than your desktop and paste it in Paint
then drag the image to the right side
then you might want to color the remaining white space to pick that color and click on the paint bucket and paint the remaining white space
then you get a desktop image with fewer icons blocking it
I also create a folder on my desktop and drag the lesser used icons into it to free up my desktop space.
Largest size depends on what your software/hardware can handle. Again, Start – Control Panel – Display – Settings to see what your system can handle. Most are 1024 by768 pixels according to this website which is a free website on making websites.
http://www.echoecho.com
It has a graph along the right side on Screen Resolution.
And it offers free email. I use it when I do not want my main email address used. That way most spam go to my junk email address. I meet someone that wants my email address and I tell them "username" @echoecho.com and they always repeat the echo part just like an echo.
